What does a CAD Drafter working in the trade show and events industry do? Draw and compile set-up prints for the exhibits for use at show site during installation Work with team members of the shop and/or warehouse (who constructed the exhibit) to establish accurate information Follow up with graphics, sales, and project management teams to ensure project completion & retention of accurate information Participate in Job Launch meetings with team members (as needed) in order to determine and understand project score and project planning Occasionally provide detailed technical drawings of designs, ensuring they reflect the clients' requests, material specifications, dimensions, and appropriate annotations Occasionally produce 3D & 2D design solutions from concept to completion in accordance with sales and client directive Required Education, Training, Knowledge and Experience 2 years CAD experience required Exhibit/ Tradeshow / Millwork industry experience a plus Vectorworks knowledge is preferred Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics Demonstrates effective written and verbal communications skills Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills Effective problem-solving skills to detect changes in circumstances or events in a fast-paced environment Exercises effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations Job Type:
