The Lunenburg Public Schools seeks a motivated individual to serve as an evening custodian.
Location to be determined.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility- Cleaning classrooms, hallways, and restrooms.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors- Dust and wipe down surfaces- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners- Clean and sanitize restrooms- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed- Work will include sweeping, dry mopping, vacuuming, washing, and disinfecting.
- Removal of snow (typically confined to sidewalks and entryways).
- Perform and/or assist with light maintenance and minor repairs as needed- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properlyThe successful candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent time management skills and have the ability/skill to interact well with people.
Light maintenance experience is preferred, but not required.

Custodians are covered by the Lunenburg Custodial Union #503 contract--salary/benefits per this contract.
Hiring is subject to satisfactory CORI and SAFIS Background Checks per 603 CMR 51.
