Analyzes production results and prioritizes actions for improvement, focusing on scrap/yield, OEE and uptime.
Supports the Cost Reduction program, helping prioritize projects, monitor progress and report to CI manager, Controller and Plant Manager.
Supports Quality for root cause analysis and actions definition.
Supports Process Engineer in process optimization using statistical tools.
Uses continuous improvement tools and provides training to the necessary employees, as well as tracking their progress in using the tools.
Qualifications - Knowledge of quality tools, including (but not limited to):
5S, Pareto analysis, Fishbone Diagram, Histogram, Process Capability, Gage R&R.
Knowledge of statistical tools:
DOE/Taguchi or similar (Black Belt certification is desirable).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Tools, including (but not limited to):
Value Stream Mapping, SMED, kaizens.
